The object of the matches in the game is to collect as many D-Spirits and have more the opponent at the end of the match. Once a gauge has been filled up your Human form powers up to Beast form which makes the opponent release diamonds when hit. Once the diamond gauge is filled up the digimon goes into an Ancient form which does attacks with greater strength.
