Kurata is what you call a crazy-scientist nowadays. He was a part of Daimon Suguru's (Masaru's father) digital world exploration team. After the team arrived for the first time in the digital world, Kurata was attacked by a Lynxmon. Since then, he thinks that all digimon are evil and attempts to destroy digital world with his own digimon army - Gizmon and its evolutions + the Bio-digimon.

Masaru is one of the main characters in this series. He's 14 years old and as careless as a teenager can be. He loves to fight and challenges everyone that he thinks is strong and this makes him extremely proud. Despite those characteristics, he has high sense of duty and compassion toward his companions.

Yoshino is the oldest of the 3 main characters. She's 18 years old and acts as the big sister in the team and looks over Touma and Masaru and stops them whenever they start bantering. She often overworks herself. She lives in the DATS headquarter with Raramon.

Working under Satsuma in the DATS headquarter. There's a fighter inside of that pretty outfit and when she teams up with Megumi, they form a quite formidable team.

He's a son of two members of the original Digital World exploration team. When his parents were doing research on the digital gate, their experimental digital gate malfunctioned and sucked Ikuto into the digital world. After arriving at the digital world, Ikuto was raised by Yukidarumon and then by Mercurimon after Yukidarumon died. After Yukidarumon died, Ikuto swore an oath to be a digimon warrior, sees himself as a digimon, and to hate all humans. Although all of that changed after he met Masaru, Touma, and Yoshino who showed him that not all humans are bad and welcomed him into their family with open arms.

Satsuma is the current leader of DATS (Digital Accident Tactics Squad). He was also a member of the original Digital World exploration team. He worked as a private investigator with Yushima in trying to recover Ikuto after he went missing.

If there's one thing that you need to know about Touma, it's that he's a genius. He graduated from a university at the age of 12 years old. At the same age as Masaru (14 years old), he's the complete opposite of Masaru. He's calm and shrewd in most situations and view Masaru as his eternal rival.

Mr. Yushima was the head the digimon world exploration team. He's also a chief of the DATS team. He was the one who gave Masaru his digivice and helped Masaru when he's down with his guidance.
