A humanoid cyborg type Digimon. It has no will or feelings and can only do what it is programmed to do. His name comes from the word android which is made to resemble a human which Andromon very much does in the facial area. He was designed to defeat weak ultimate type digimon with a single strike.

Andromon was found crushed under some machinery in a factory by the Digi-Destined. When they helped him out, a Black Gear sunk into him however, causing him to attack them.

Andromon was too powerful for Greymon and Garurumon, but the Black Gear was destroyed by Kabuterimon, which turned Andromon normal again. He assisted the Digi-Destined in getting through the factory when the Black Gear was dislodged.

Andromon is a playable digimon and a recruitable digimon in this game. You don't have to fight him to recruit him, he joins once you've beaten Giromon.

Andromon doesn't contribute to the city besides giving you 3 extra prosperity points, he is just seen standing outside the Birdra Transport from time to time.

Andromon is also one of the cards you can collect.
