Digimon World Digivolution

This digivolution page refers to digivolution in Digimon World, for digivolution in the whole series please see, Digivolution.

Digivolution is the process whereby a Digimon transforms into another Digimon of a higher level. For Digivolution to occur, there are several requirements which must be met. First and foremost, a Digimon needs to have sufficiently high Parameters to be able to achieve Digivolution to a certain form. The Digimon also needs to have had a certain amount of time since its previous regeneration (usually 6-12 hours for In-Training, 1-2 days for Rookie, 4-6 days for Champion and 11-12 days for Ultimate). Some Digimon (usually Ultimates) require the Weight to be within a certain range for a Digimon to Digivolve into it. Some Digimon also require Care Mistakes to be over or within a certain amount. Finally, some Digimon have extra conditions which can be met to increase the chances of Digivolving into that form, usually having more than a certain number of Techniques or having had more or less than a certain number of battles. If your Champion Digimon doesn't Digivolve to Ultimate level by about 15, it will likely either die or Digivolve to Vademon or another Champion Digimon (depending on Digimon). There are also "Special Digivolutions", which require other conditions to be met. For more information, see our page on Special Digivolutions.
