Elecmon is a Rookie level digimon. They appear to be the cross-breed between a rabbit and a peacock, and use electricity to attack their opponents with. They are docile creatures who will build up a charge in their bodies and release it as their special technique Super Thunder Strike when angered.

Elecmon was the protector of the Fresh and In-Training digimon in Toy Town. When T.K. and Patamon arrived, Elecmon thought they were intruders who had come to cause trouble, and tried to chase them off with his Super Thunder Strike. Elecmon wasn't a victim of the black gears though, and in the end Patamon and Elecmon settled problems with a Tug of War game. Patamon won, and soon after became good friends with Elecmon.

Elecmon appears in Digimon world as a playable Rookie and can be recruited to the city after he is defeated.

Elecmon can evolve in to the following Champions in this game:

• Leomon
• Bakemon
• Kokatorimon
• Angemon

And the following which all Rookies can evolve in to:

• Sukamon
• Nanimon
• Numemon
