Hagurumon is a Virus-type Digimon of the Machine kind. He has two gears as hands, and his main body is shaped like a gear. Inside his main body, countless gears spin around. It is said that a Hagurumon will stop functioning if even one of his gears is missing. Hagurumon seems to re-assimilate a missing gear and place it appropriately if somebody inserts it through his mouth, though. With his Darkness Gear attack, he can shoot black gears infected with a strong virus capable of subduing its opponent, and controlling his opponent's movement with his Command Input attack.
 Anime Appearances
A Hagurumon and a Clockmon appear near a wasteland; Hagurumon lost one of his gears and cannot move. Ryo Akiyama replaces his missing gear, to Ruki's dismay.
 Game Appearances
WaruMonzaemon held a Hagurumon on his hands after losing his grip. After being defeated, he hands over the gear and disappears. The player can then restore Toy Town by returning it to the Tinmon. This particular Hagurumon acts more like a machine, and won't talk to the player whatsoever.
Hagurumon appears as both the first boss Digimon of the game, and as a random encounter later in the game. His special attack remains untouched.
Hagurumon is a Card Tamer located in Junk City. He uses primarily Option cards and machine-themed and mutant Digimon. Unlike other tamers on his city, he seems indifferent if he loses.
