Kimeramon's name is derived from chimera (or chimaira), a mythical creature whose body has many parts from different creatures. Kimeramon is made up of many different Digimon. These are Greymon (body and mouth), Devimon (upper arms), SkullGreymon (lower right arm), Kuwagamon (lower left arm), Kabuterimon (helmet), MetalGreymon (hair), Garurumon (lower body and legs), Angemon (upper wings), Airdramon (lower wings) and Monochromon (tail).
