Leomon is a champion level digimon. They are lion digimon, with a human-like figure. Lions are supposed to represent courage, and Leomon are very courageous.

Leomon are digimon who stand for justice, and won't tolerate evil. Their special technique is Fist of the Beast King . This attack is concentrated energy unleashed from the hand in the shape of a lion's head.

Leomon appeared throughout this series. He was a good digimon who was on the tamer's side, even though he had no partner. Leomon would appear from time to time, usually when Ogremon and Devimon were nearby. When the tamers all unite in Toy Town, Leomon becomes a victim to one of devimon's black gears, and is powered up by a few more black gears, making him attack the tamers. The tamers' digimon are able to destroy the black gear in the powered-up Leomon, bringing him back to the good side.

Leomon is a playable character in this game, and a recruitable digimon. To recruit Leomon you must open the entrance to his Ancestor's Cave from inside Drill Tunnel.
