MetalGreymon is a Cyborg Digimon. More than half of his body is mechanical. There are two types of MetalGreymon. The version seen in-game in Digimon World has bluish-purple skin and is a Virus-type. The more common MetalGreymon is orange and is a vaccine-Type. Both forms of MetalGreymon have an onboard missile launcher as a weapon.

Giga Destroyer - Shoots powerful missles from the hatch on it's chest
Trident Arm - Launches it's mechanical claw from a chain to strike the foe

Anime Appearances

Digimon Adventure in which MetalGreymon first appeared in a battle against Etemon when Tai displayed a large amount of courage by saving Sora from Datamon and with the help of the tags and crests Greymon was able to digivolve into MetalGreymon.
Digimon Adventure 02 in Digimon Adventure 02, The Digimon Emperor kidnaps Tai's Agumon and forces him to Digivolve into the Virus MetalGreymon. He is stopped by Raidramon.
