MetalGreymon (メタルグレイモン "MetalGreymon") is a cyborg dinosaur Digimon of the vaccine type. They are artificially modified Greymon, making them suitable for ranged combat. Upon being modified, they gained decaying purple wings, a sturdy helmet, a mechanized arm and a chest-mounted twin missile launcher. MetalGreymon (Virus) were also experimented upon, but it resulted in highly aggressive beasts. Their special attack is the Terra Destroyer, on which they fire two highly destructive organic missiles from their chest.

MetalGreymon is a recruitable Digimon on this game, and the first ultimate Digimon the player can face on a domain. A MetalGreymon can be seen lurking on BIOS domain, but will run away from the player. The player must corner said MetalGreymon on floor 6, where he will become aggressive. The player can use Toy Planes or similar items item on him before the match in order to befriend him.

MetalGreymon is a card tamer the player can face once they get to Wiseman Tower. His SEVEN deck is a tri-colored deck capable of switching Digimon quickly thanks to his mutant and special evolutions.

MetalGreymon is Agumon's natural ultimate evolution. Agumon must reach level 20 before MetalGreymon becomes playable. On any other Digimon, it's necessary to have Greymon at level 50.

MetalGreymon also appears as a red coloured monster care in the card battle side quest.

MetalGreymon appears as a playable digimon. It digivolves from Agumon and into WarGreymon, BlackWarGreymon or Omnimon.
