Raidramon (ライドラモン "Lighdramon") is an armored beast Digimon of the vaccine type. They are large, canine-like creatures almost entirely covered in a protective armor. The lighting decoration on their headpiece doubles as a lighting rod; Raidramon are said to obtain energy from actual lighting. They are extremely aggressive and territorial. They are the result of a Veemon evolving through the Digi-Egg of Friendship. On their special attack, Blue Thunder, they canalize electricity through its body and fires it at the enemy in a single, almost unavoidable shot.

[edit] Digimon Digital Card Battle

Raidramon is a post-game card tamer the player can face. Its Raiden Blade deck is focused on fire and darkness specialists, and it is highly defensive. Its strategy relies on averting attack reductions, mainly through the use of Raidramon, whose X attack power is higher than its other attack powers, and which itself reduces the opponent's X attack power to zero.

Raidramon is also an armor the player can get for a Veemon partner. In order for Veemon to evolve into Raidramon, the player must first acquire the Digi-Egg of Friendship. Its circle, triangle and X attacks are set to Blue Thunder, Electric Bite and Lightning Blade.

[edit] Digimon World 2

Raidramon is a possible partner Digimon in this game. It evolves from a Flamedramon with six of more DP. If Raidramon's DP is eight or higher, it can evolve further into Imperialdramon, else it will evolve into Phoenixmon. Raidramon cannot be obtained in the wild, nor is it possible to obtain it via a jogress. The only way to obtain a Raidramon is by evolving a Veemon with enough DP.
