Digitamamon is a mutant Digitama. His name is derived from Digitama, the Japanese name for a Digi-Egg. He has two lizard-like feet, and two eyes which can be seen through a cracked area of his shell. The shell seems to have more room than its external size lets on. Digitamamon can digivolve naturally from Nanimon. A Digitamamon also plays a role in Digimon World and appears to be somehow formed by Machinedramon.

[edit] Digimon World

In Digimon World, Digitamamon is a playble Digimon who Digivolves from the much weaker Nanimon. He is amazingly versatile, and can use a very large variety of Techniques. A Digitamamon is also formed upon the defeat of the villain Machinedramon and is both a very difficult boss and a recruitable Digimon - however, Machinedramon appears to survive somehow and the Digitamamon turns out to be on the player's side, so whether this is a separate Digimon or a reincarnation of the original Digimon is not explored.
